Perceivant CEO and Founder Brian Rowe Named a Top 100 Influencer by EdTech Digest

INDIANAPOLIS

March 6, 2019

Perceivant, an education technology company that replaces traditional textbooks with cost-effective, interactive and data-driven learning experiences, proudly announces that its CEO and founder Brian Rowe has been recognized as a Top 100 Influencer by EdTech Digest.

The Top 100 Influencer list is annually compiled by EdTech Digest and recognizes prominent innovators across the country who are transforming the field of education and making the world a better place through their work in technology. Only those who are setting an exceptional example in innovation and leadership are eligible for consideration.

As a first-time recipient, Rowe is an Indianapolis-based entrepreneur and serves as the CEO and founder of Perceivant. Since Perceivant’s launch in 2012, Rowe has continuously strived to help improve the learning experience for college students through the creation of digital courseware that reinforces learning objectives in low-stress environments to improve competency and retention in students. The courseware also provides an instructor dashboard and analyzes course efficacy.

This recognition follows a successful year for Perceivant as the tech company continues to work with universities to help them overcome the challenge of making textbooks and course materials more relevant, meaningful and engaging for students. Under Rowe’s leadership, Perceivant has positively impacted tens of thousands of students nationwide while decreasing fail and drop rates in courses at universities such as Kennesaw State University by 50 percent.

In addition, Perceivant also drastically expanded their product catalog with the launch of more than 15 new courses as well as launched a new mobile application to further accessibility of course content. The new courses also includes one titled reMIND that helps students navigate the college experience, with a focus on first-generation, low-income college students who often face a unique set of challenges.

“I am honored to be recognized among some of the greatest industry leaders,” said Rowe. “As more than 88 percent of students feel they could earn better grades using digital courseware compared to traditional materials, I will continue to devote time and energy to help universities implement this type of technology that continues to drastically improve the learning experience for students.”

The entire list can be found in the 2019-2020 State of EdTech report by EdTech Digest. You can order a free copy of the report at www.edtechdigest.com.
