Perceivant Named a Finalist in 2019 EdTech Digest Awards

INDIANAPOLIS

April 4, 2019

Perceivant, an education technology company that replaces traditional textbooks with cost-effective, interactive and data-driven learning experiences, proudly announces that its digital courseware solution was a finalist in the 2019 EdTech Digest Awards.

Now in its ninth year, the EdTech Digest Awards is the largest and most competitive recognition program in the industry that recognizes current and future trailblazers in education technology. The program honors companies, people and school programs across all learning levels for their outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology while enriching the lives of learners everywhere.

Perceivant’s recognition comes as a result of their efforts to help improve the learning experience for college students through the creation of digital courseware that reinforces learning objectives in low-stress environments to improve competency and retention in students. The courseware also provides an instructor dashboard and analyzes course efficacy.

“We are honored to be recognized alongside companies doing great things for the education technology space,” said Brian Rowe, Perceivant CEO and founder. “It is inspiring to be held in the company of others that are striving for the same goal we are, to change the way students experience learning and education.”

This recognition follows a successful year for Perceivant as the tech company continues to work with universities to help them overcome the challenge of making textbooks and course materials more relevant, meaningful and engaging for students. Under Rowe’s leadership, Perceivant has positively impacted tens of thousands of students nationwide while decreasing fail and drop rates in courses at universities such as Kennesaw State University by 50 percent.

In addition, Perceivant also drastically expanded their product catalog with the launch of more than 15 new courses as well as launched a new mobile application to further accessibility of course content. The new courses also include one titled reMIND that helps students navigate the college experience, with a focus on first-generation, low-income college students who often face a unique set of challenges.
